Sheikh Zakzaky's Response On Government's Plan To Assassinate Him
Since about seven to ten days of the commencement of the fasting, we have been hearing stories. We have heard stories that we are going to be attacked any time during the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan. It is said that the Shi'ites are going to be attacked. It was after that that we heard, to be specific, on the fifteenth night of Ramadan that some so-called scholars were gathered by the authorities and informed that the Boko Haram members are going to stage a protest and that the government will not take it lightly with them; that they are going to be killed.
The government called on the so-called scholars to preach to the public not to sympathize with them in event of the attack. We wonder what they are referring to as Boko Haram.
We presume that they are planning an onslaught on the Islamic Movement in the name of Boko Haram; that they want to exploit the silence of the Muslims over the extra-judicial killings of Muslims they perpetrated in the name of Boko Haram in the past few weeks.
