MISSION STATEMENT
With the progressive awareness on Islam in the
contemporary world and happenings within Nigeria, especially as they affect the
Islamic movement in the area of misinformation on Islam and Muslims by a section
of the media, both print and electronic, it has become long overdue to have a
paper that would interact locally and act as a source of correct information as
well as provide relevant analysis of issues on the Islamic Movement in Nigeria
in particular and other parts of the world in general. Such a paper because of
its nature and objectivity should also be able to give an unbiased and fair
report as well as an alternative viewpoint on matters based on the principles of
justice and equity. This, with absolute reliance on Allah (S.W.T) for help and
the support, cooperation and patronage of our teaming readers is what POINTER
